College Testing

College Admission Tests ACT Consists of four tests: English, Math, Reading, Science, and Writing (optional, but encouraged) SAT Consists of three tests: Language, Math (2 sections- with & without calculator), Writing (optional but encouraged) Naviance has entrance scores for each college.

On Site Testing PSAT- October 19, 2016 For Sophomore- $15 For Juniors- Free Sign up with Mrs. Poage Beginning October 1st, Kaplan will cover the most important PSAT content and tackle practice problems in 8 livestreaming, one- hour lessons.  In addition, students will have access to online study content and detailed explanations to the official PSAT practice test. Merit Scholarship Tips Merit scholarships are where the money is. There is more than $11 billion in merit scholarships available to students from colleges Many awards emphasize leadership or school involvement Nearly all colleges offer merit aid scholarships The average merit scholarship is $5,000 Many awards can be renewed year after year
