DUO-TEE® SPRINGS VECTOR III® Your introduction to the most significant advancement available in removable appliances.

VECTOR III® Duo-Tee® Spring appliances are made to be used on anterior teeth primarily. They are very effective in aligning the anterior teeth without stripping and some of the adverse effects of some other appliances. They are easy to use and can be used as the same retainers after treatment that you would normally use for any other treatment. In fact they are better for patients who may have a higher degree of relapse due to their initial position of the teeth. The springs on these appliances are made with Vectorloy® Wire and are very effective when used properly.

Align Crowns And Torque Roots Start 3 months minus 1 day No stripping of the anterior teeth These x-ray views are taken from the cuspid/lateral area thus the centrals are “on a curve” and the roots appear closer together than they actually are. Note the bone and the lack of root resorption on the actively moving teeth.

View of spring activation with Optical plier (#X70) to maintain an active position behind the tooth. This type of adjustment is especially indicated for cuspid rotations due to the shape of the cuspids.

Rotate 90° or less as needed View of spring adjusted toward the “gum-line” to maintain an activated position behind the tooth.

Indications for use of Duo-Tee® spring appliances. In mixed dentition for cross-bites or alignment and rotation. In adult dentition as primary treatment. To rotate teeth, tip teeth labially or lingually, translate, torque roots or to intrude or extrude teeth. In retention following treatment. Or for correction of relapse. As prevention added to appliances when the pre-treatment position of the teeth indicate a higher possibility of relapse. 4. When stopping treatment early with a signed release. Such as a non-compliant patient. 5. As a dental adjunct to esthetic dentistry, for minor anterior tooth alignment before bridges, veneers, bonding etc.

HOW DO YOU KNOW WHEN TO USE REMOVABLE APPLIANCES OR FIXED APPLIANCES? VECTOR III® HAS THE TOOLS YOU NEED TO MAKE THIS AN EASY DECISION WITH OUR “CASE EVALUATION GUIDE”.
