My Perfect Christmas By: Mitchell Northern
Weather The weather at my Christmas would be very snowy and cold that you could easily slide down a hill without a sled!
Food The people at my perfect Christmas would have turkey, bread, milk, butter, pizza, and steak.
Decorations The decorations at my perfect Christmas would be a Christmas tree, holly, paper lanterns, wreaths, and ornaments on the tree.
Clothing The people at my perfect Christmas would wear red and white robes to remind us of Christ.
Greetings People at my perfect Christmas would say “Ola.” for the Spanish greetings and “Hello” or “Good morning” depending on of it is before 9:00 or after 9:00. If after 9:00, it is “Hello.” If before 9:00, it is “Good Morning.” “Ola.” would be used in all occasions.
Customs The customs at my perfect Christmas would be that every Christmas the people would light lots of fireworks and the kids would get up at 4:00 to look at the presents. It is also a custom for Santa to come.
Songs The songs we will sing at my perfect Christmas will be Away in a Manger in front of a replica manger.
The Rest The rest of the things are that we break a very large piñata just like the kids do in Mexico at certain times.
What I Learned In this unit I learned how people in different countries celebrate Christmas and what Christmas means to them.
