Please send in $.50 for a gift for our priests’ Christmas gifts if you have not already done so! Thank you to all those who have sent in items for the school food drive. We have almost met our goal. We will continue collecting food until 12/16. Great job on the prayer test this week! Secret Santa shop info: SPX will once again be holding a Secret Santa shop in the PAC room. I will let you know when we are assigned our shopping day! Christmas Program info: Students should come to school on 12/6 wearing their outfit for the Christmas show: Mrs. Smith suggested in her letter- white top and pants, angel costume or white robe, white dress or white skirt and top. Those wearing robes or costumes from Mrs. Smith may wear their gym clothes then change and/or put the robe on at school. (Please remember to BRING the costume Tuesday morning if Mrs. Smith gave you one!) School doors will be unlocked at 6:30. Please plan to drop your child off between 6:30 and 6:40. For Advent we have been learning about the people that were waiting for Jesus and adding their ornaments to our Jesse Tree. We are also learning the many names for Jesus. Students should have hung an Advent Calendar up at home this week that has ideas and ways to help prepare for Jesus’ birth! We are working on letter writing! The students will be writing Christmas letters to veterans during Advent. Hopefully your child can tell you the five parts of a friendly letter. Reminder I will be submitting the Scholastic Book Order I sent home on Wednesday this Sunday! Be sure to send an email if your order is to be kept quiet!!!!
