Milestones 2004 GKN Aerospace India (Volvo Aero India) started business in India partnering with a service supplier organization (offload). 2009 Moved to a “captive” solution with own employees and supported by onsite based consultants. 2010 The office relocates to 77 seat facility. organization sees dramatic growth. 2012 Growth by 50% and delivers over 100 000 hours of engineering. 2013 GKN acquires Volvo Aero and we move into a new office and add the Aero Structures Team. GKN Aerospace India cross 100 engineers and adds Driveline and Procurement. GKN Aerospace India deliver the first physical parts to Aero Structures in the UK; sourced and manufactured in India.
