THE APPLE –ROMANIAN VARIETIES   The apple is a fruit with seeds which are located in seminal sockets. The apple-tree has been known ever since the Stone Age.

Description It is a tree with a small trunk and a large leafy canopy. apple ranges between 3 and 12 cm. leaves are oval the flowers are made up of five petals white, slightly pinkish. the fruit of the apple-tree are around and contain 1 to 10 seeds.

Growth and Maintenance   This tree does not require special care. The apple-tree is planted in spring. The apples are ripe in late September and early October.  Apples ca even be kept until the next spring if adequate conditions are ensured: a dark room with a temperature of 3-6 degrees Celsius.

The apple is regarded as the fruit of vitality and health. Medical Uses   The apple is regarded as the fruit of vitality and health.
