Tues: Practice the vocabulary by visiting: Weds: Practice the words at this site: Thurs: Play the vocab games on the quizlet website. Read a little of Chapter 9 each day. Finish reading it on Thursday.

Early French History Continued The next important historical figure you will learn about is Charles the Bald. Answer the following questions about him. How was Louis the Pious (Louis the 1st) related to Charles the Bald? What is confraternal government? How did this apply to his early rule? What was Charles the Balds title? What was he called the Bald? (And no, its not because he was bald!) What is the Treaty of Verdun? How did it impact France? What was Charles the Balds reign like? What happened after his death?
