What is Fashion Designing? Fashion design is the art of application of design and aesthetics or natural beauty to clothing and accessories. Fashion design is influenced by cultural and social attitudes, and has varied over time and place. Fashion designers work in a number of ways in designing clothing and accessories such as bracelets and necklace. Because of the time required to bring a garment onto the market, designers must at times anticipate changes to consumer tastes.

Subjects to Choose for Fashion Designing. To join the fashion design course, one needs to pass 12th in ANY stream with 50%. You may study Science or Commerce or Humanities. Opt for the stream which interests you the most. Many schools offer Fashion designing as a subject in 11th. Amity offers Fine Arts in 11th and 12th which can also be very helpful.
