September 2016 : Landmark decision for the Sharing Economy in France Nowadays, travelers are looking for authentic experiences while travelling. They also want to meet locals. Would you be willing to book a meal at locals home while travelling abroad*? Yes for: 72% of the French 65% of the Italians 54% of the British VizEat is an experience and not an alternative to restaurants. Travelers do one VizEat experience while travelling, not one everyday. We work very closely with Tourism Offices and National Boards in France and in the UK to promote destinations. September 2016 : Landmark decision for the Sharing Economy in France French government decided to tax all the revenues from the SE but made 2 exceptions : Blablacar and VizEat, because VizEat hosts are amateurs and welcome guests in their house to dine with them. * Survey made by Toluna Louis Harris on behalf of VizEat in 2015 and 2016 on representative samples of 500 French, 1000 Italians and 500 British.
