Chapter 14: Transport Policy Legal Framework The safety inspector in accordance with the Regulation on boat accident investigation , conduct an accident investigation of ships or other vessels or floating objects in internal waters and territorial sea of Montenegro - such as grounding, sinking, collision, ship tumbling, penetration of water in a boat, a fire or explosion of the ship, breakage or deformation of the ship, drop objects on board, mostly shock equipment, screw or other type of the sustainable, as well as other types of emergencies and claims relating to the ship and sailing. In examining the accident, safety inspection determines all elements of the accident and prepare a report about the accident, that must contain: an analysis of the circumstances under which the accident occurred; Opinion on the direct and indirect causes of the accident and the proposed actions to correct the causes of accidents.
