Welcome to CTE!

How do CTE courses work? CTE is built around career centered PROGRAMS. Programs are designed to focus on specific career areas and are taught by instructors with high levels of training in those areas. Each program is broken down into CAREER PATHWAYS. Career Pathways are a sequence of courses within the program area that leads to an Industry Certification or eligibility to take the KOSSA exam. Many courses also offer opportunities for DUAL CREDIT. Career Pathways are developed, implemented and maintained in partnership among secondary and postsecondary institutions, business and employers.  Successfully completing the courses within the pathway and earning an Industry Certification or passing the KOSSA helps you to earn the status of College &/or Career Ready.

What is College and Career Readiness?

What Career Pathways do we offer? See website: Monroe County ATC Career Pathways for a viewable copy.
