Chapter 14: Transport policy TRANSPOSITION Procedures for achieving road safety Ranking and management of state roads in relation to road safety This is the procedure that defines, analyzes and ranks the road sections which are more then tree years in exploatation, with lot of accidents with tragic consequences This procedure can be performed by legal entities with the EURO RAP license Ranking and management of state roads in relation to road safety can be done on the basis of : number of accidents on road section (Risk Maping) technical caracteristics of road section (Star Rating) M O N T E N E G R O Negotiating Team for the Accession of Montenegro to the European Union

IMPLEMENTATION Pilot Project in cooperation with SEETO Chapter 14: Transport policy IMPLEMENTATION Pilot Project in cooperation with SEETO RSA - The audited project contains the rehabilitation of the national highway M2, section km 1034+613 - km 1035+490 RSI - The inspected road section is a through road (M2) near by the village Trmanje, from km 1013+187 - km 1014+21 The National Highway (road first class/“magistralni put”) M2 is one of the most important highways in Montenegro.
