Academic integrity in the World Language classroom Students will be instructed on methods to use in order to avoid these problems and reminded of them throughout the year. Plagiarism of any kind is not tolerated. This includes: Copying homework, answers to tests and quizzes Saying an assignment was completed by oneself, when it was not Using “cheat sheets”, writing notes on hands, desks, etc. Having an older sibling, friend, tutor, family member, etc. make drastic changes to an assignment (i.e. using unfamiliar verb tenses) Using online translators; online dictionaries are acceptable Speaking about an assessment to students who have the class later in the day Guidance counselors and parents will be contacted in the event of any issues of academic integrity.
