Interoperability Demonstration Objectives To demonstrate the ability for a UML model that is exported from a modeling tool to be fully imported into other tools using standard XMI. The test case is a class model. Diagrams are not interchanged in the XMI, but should be able to be re-created in each importing tool. UML version 2.1.1 / XMI version 2.1

Interoperability Demonstration Test Process The test conductor makes the test case available in the MIWG Subversion (SVN) repository. The test conductor presents the test case reference diagram. The test conductor runs the test case reference XMI through the Validator. Vendors recreate the reference diagram in their tool and export the XMI to SVN. Vendors import the other vendors’ XMI and recreate diagrams in their tool. Each vendor reviews their recreated diagrams from one to two other vendors as designated by the test conductor.
