Stages of Development of Critical Thinking: Master Thinker Advanced Thinker Practicing Thinker Beginning Thinker Challenged Thinker Unreflective Thinker

Stage one: The Unreflective Thinker Don’t notice making assumptions, forming concepts and opinions, drawing inferences, and thinking within points of view. Egocentric tendencies at this stage play a dominant role in thinking. Lack the skills and motivation to notice self-centered and prejudice.

Begin to become aware that thinking is shaping our lives. Stage Two: The Challenged Thinker Begin to notice Make questionable assumptions Use false, incomplete, or misleading information Make conclusion that do not follow from an evidence Fail to recognize important implications in thought Fail to recognize problems Reason with prejudiced points of view Begin to become aware that thinking is shaping our lives.

our personality and personal psychology. Thinking within a variety of domains: Sociological: Our minds are influenced by The social group to which we belong. Theological: Our minds are influenced by our religious beliefs and attitudes. Psychological: Our minds are influenced by our personality and personal psychology.

So, what is first step? Stage Four: The Practicing Thinker Are you committed to regular practice? Are like to improve your thinking? Do you love to test yourself? Do you need to challenges your skills? Are you ready to know the process? Believe yourself, tell me, do you like to do some the practicing? So, what is first step?
