Exchange Program Eligibility criteria 2nd, 3rd and 4th year EBA students with a minimum GPAX of 2.80

Exchange Program 1st Round Timeline Jan 3-13, 2017 Application period Jan 23-27, 2017 Selection Feb 1, 2017 Announcement of successful candidates Feb 2-8, 2018 Acceptance/rejection of offer by students

Exchange Program 2nd Round Timeline Feb 13-17, 2017 2nd application round for left-over places (clearing round) Feb 21-24, 2017 Clearing round selection Feb 28, 2017 Announcement of successful candidates Mar 1-7, 2017 Acceptance/rejection of offer by students Mar 13, 2017 Nomination of students to partner university Mar 29-30, 2017 Preparatory meeting for nominated EBA students

Exchange Program Selection criteria and weights Academic record (GPAX) 50% English language requirement (CU-Tep or equivalent; not older than 3 years): 25% Written statement of purpose cum self-assessment of ambassadorial qualities (500-word essay in English):

Exchange Program Allocation of Slots Programme (EBA)-level slots (EBA students only): EBA students will be ranked according to their overall scores and students with the highest scores will be selected

Exchange Program Allocation of Slots (cont.) Faculty-and university-level slots (EBA and BEcon students): Slots at top partner universities (required GPAX ≥ 3.50): EBA and BEcon students will be ranked according to their overall score and students with the highest scores will be selected Other slots (required 2.80 ≤ GPAX < 3.50): 1st round: EBA students to be given priority with remaining slots to be allocated to BEcon students Clearing round: EBA and BEcon students will be ranked according to their overall score and students with the highest scores will be selected

Exchange Program Credit and grade transfer Courses taken at the host institution must be equivalent to elective courses Courses taken at the host institution must be approved by the Office of the Registrar, ideally prior to the exchange period  course equivalency to be established Not more than 1/3 of total BEcon credits may be transferred from host institutions Grades earned must be equivalent to CU grade “C” (or better). An "F" on the transcript received from the host institution -due to whatever reason- will lead to the student not being eligible to receive CU honours.

Exchange Program Credit and grade transfer (cont.) Grades earned at the host institution will not be included in the calculation of the GPAX (grades assigned: S or U) Grades earned at the host institution will be converted and count towards BEcon tracks After having studied at the host institution, students must complete at least one regular term at the home institution prior to graduation Exchange students must inform the International Affairs Office without delay by email, should they have to change their course selection
