Organizational Updates Monthly Member Call Time Survey Sent only to Principals – Of 20 responses, 15 picked current time (2nd Friday @ 1 pm EST), so time will remain the same CSTE Epidemiology Capacity Assessment – invite to BCHC to participate Need to get to 50% of cities = 13 members (bc 2 centralized states) Have heard from 11 of you – 8 yes, 2 maybe, 1 no Need to give CSTE the go/no go COB today

Organizational Updates – NACCHO Annual NACCHO Conference: Tuesday, July 11th (1 pm) to Thursday, July 13th BCHC Meeting: Afternoon of Thursday, July 13th (details to follow) & Friday, July 14th 8 am to 3 pm. Dinner will be Thursday evening 7 pm. Information has been sent out for full dues paying members to register and book travel. Contact Chrissie with questions. Particular issues/topics to cover? CHOICES Learning Collaborative Partnership Modeling project with state, city and county health agencies Provide tools, resources, and training to: Assess cost, effect, reach and cost effectiveness of selected initiatives Communicate these results for use in decision making Includes financial assistance to health agencies to complete work Partnerships with other local agencies and organizations Harvard Prevention Research Center on Nutrition and Physical Activity
