Name___________________________ Week of 1/30-2/3 Dear Families, Aspen Ridge is participating in Pennies for Peace this week!  Please help your child collect 100 pennies and send them to school this Tuesday, January 31st (our 100th day of school). We will celebrating the 100th day of school by dressing up as if we were 100 years old. Your child is more than welcome to participate in the fun. We have an early release this Wednesday, 2/1; please make sure your child knows how they are getting home. A Parent Teacher Conference signup sheet will go out via email on 2/1. Thank you for your continued support and please don’t hesitate to contact me if you have any concerns. Warmly, Mrs. Bergan This week’s Subject Snapshot Math- students will begin the double digit addition (no regrouping) unit. Writing- students will wrap up their paper about the best activity to do at recess and start their final opinion paper about who has the harder job, Santa Claus or the Tooth Fairy. Science- students will group solid objects in a variety of ways and discover that many objects can have the same properties.  On a different piece of paper please practice your spelling words with these different methods each night.
