Pilot Site Implementation Strategy On the job training by COSS staff for 15 days to 14 Draftsman of the District Data Entry took place on 2 shifts per day Maximum of 3 to 4 FMBs could be completed by a Survey staff per day in the initial stage and was improved to 10-12 FMBs per day after gaining experience. 11676 FMBs were completed for Perambalur Taluk within 10 months time.

NIC has developed a Software for digitization called COLLABLAND. By using this software, the cost of digitizing can be drastically reduced to under Rs.10/- per FMS. In the light of the development of COLLABLAND software by NIC, FMS digitization in the entire state can be completed at an estimated cost of under Rs.10 crores. Contd.,
