IN COSIDERATION OF TRANS REGIONAL MARITIME NETWORK OPERATIONAL ARRANGEMENT SIGNATURE (click), IT HAS BEEN REVIEWED, CONTAINING A DEDICATED ANNEX TO TRANS REGIONAL DIMENSION. THIS UPDATED DOCUMENT SHOULD HAVE BEEN INSERTED IN YOUR FOLDERS. Acting nationally, focusing regionally, envisioning globally T-RISE 2010 PURPOSE OF T-RISE 2010 WAS TO PROMOTE COOPERATION AND ENHANCE THE INTEROPERABILITY AMONG THE V-RMTC WMC AND BRAZILIAN, INDIAN & SINGAPORE NAVAL OPERATIONAL CENTRES (NOCS) THROUGH AN INFORMATION SHARING FOCUSED IN MARITIME TRAFFIC, BEARING IN MIND BOTH CURRENT INTERNATIONAL SECURITY CHALLENGES/RISKS AND THE NEED TO ENHANCE THE MARITIME SECURITY IN TERMS OF: FREEDOM OF NAVIGATION; SURVEILLANCE AND SECURITY OF SEA LINES OF COMMUNICATION; EXCHANGE DATA AT INTERNATIONAL LEVEL. FOLLOWING THE GLOBAL PARTNERSHIP APPROACH AND UNDER THE AEGIS OF A WORLD-WIDE MARITIME COOPERATION AMONG MEDITERRANEAN, BLACK SEA, ATLANTIC AND INDIAN REGIONS, THE AIM OF T-RISE IS TO PROMOTE COOPERATION AT TRANS-REGIONAL LEVEL THROUGH THE EXPLOITATION OF THE EXISTING REGIONAL INFORMATION SHARING INITIATIVES AND SYSTEMS, SUCH AS THE V-RMTC, SISTRAM, OASYS AND MSIS. T-RISE 2010 DURING THE EXERCISE WERE SUCCESSFULLY USED: MAP MAIN CHAT PRIVATE MESSAGES ENCRYPTED/SIGNED E-MAIL During the build up of the exercise were fully successfull used: (click) MAP for traks sharing among the different comunities involved; (click) MAIN CHAT for injection and all those information of common interest; (click) PRIVATE MESSAGE to exchange information between DIREX and selected NOC in order to set up a chain reaction among NOCs as per instruction given; (click) ENCRYPTED/SIGNED EMAIL used with those countries that wera all ready fitted (click)

FIR & Lessons Learned INCLUDE REAL TIME DATA ON MAP LACK OF PRESENCE OF T-RMN COUNTRIES ON MAIN CHAT INCLUDE INFORMATION EXCHANGE ON REAL-WORLD QUESTIONS ABOUT SHIPS NOT AVAILABLE ON MAP The main topics arose with FIR are:(click) INCLUDE REAL TIME DATAS ON MAP: This item needs an evolution of the V-RMTC, because now the Map refresh is related to the timing of contribution, sent by member states; (click) LACK OF PRESENCE OF T-RMN COUNTRIES ON MAIN CHAT: this is due to T-RMN Operational Arrangement that states that T-RMN is a federation of systems allowing the information sharing with the aim to build up a common RMP among participating countries, that means that does not exist a common chat room for WMC and T-RMN; (click) THE NEED OF INCLUDE REAL-WORD INFORMATION EXCHANGE is one of main topics of signed Operational Arrangement and it is the main aim to pursue in the evaluation of SOP manual. (click) QUESTIONS ABUOT SHIPS NOT AVAILABLE ON MAP: that inducted some confusion not being possible to conclude if was a system failure, this kind of questions were injected with the purpose of stimulate NOCs to search and provide information not included on V-RMTC (click)
