Predator vs. Prey Predator: An animal that feeds upon other animals (prey) Examples: Lions, Hawk, lady bugs Prey: Those animals fed upon by predators Examples: Zebras, Rabbit, Aphids

Predators Predators usually possess excellent senses to find their prey and special abilities to capture the prey. Some predators have outstanding eyesight and often hearing (red fox) Other predators have a very keen sense of smell that helps them locate prey (bears) Many predators are very fast, and use their speed to help capture their prey (Northern Pike)
