EDINA HORNET FOOTBALL Mission Statement: To provide student athletes with mentoring, role models, support, motivation, and the experience to successfully prepare themselves for career goals and graduation. Student athletes will have the opportunity to participate in a positive competitive athletic experience while striving to win a state tournament football championship.

EHS 2017 FOOTBALL BUDGET 2017 EHS Football Operational Budget: $135,000 Covers 6 coaches salaries, camps, team meals/beverages, apparel, transportation, photography, trainers, filming, awards, recognition, year end banquet, etc. 2017 EHS Football Needs/Wants Budget: $50,000 2017 needs = ECC Weight Room upgrades, equipment, team events/trip, etc. $185,000 TOTAL; WE NEED YOUR HELP!!!

ADVERTISING OPPORTUNITIES Game Title Sponsor (4 home games) Front & back cover of one Hornet Home Game Program A quarter page ad in each of the home game programs Multiple public address announcements during the home game you sponsor. Cost $2,500 ($3,000 for Homecoming Game). Pre-game Plaza/Halftime Sponsor (4 home games) A chance to exhibit your company’s product/service for one hour prior to one home game (on new plaza at Kuhlman) Sole Game Night Halftime sponsor Cost $1,500 ($2,000 for Homecoming Game).

All EHS Football & EFA Parents (adults only) HOW? Go to www.hornetfbauction.com Donate an Auction Item - $100+ value (1 per EHS FB family) Purchase Tickets - $50.00 each Sponsor a Table - $750 (10 tickets + advertising) Presenting Sponsor – $10,000 (10 tickets + advertising +) DEADLINE IS JULY 15TH!!!!!

MVP CARD PROGRAM MVP Card Program will generate 40%+ of the annual revenue needed to run EHS football program. Supports 27 local merchants / 92% return to Edina Football. Each player Grades 9-12 is asked to sell 20 MVP cards. Cards distributed on June 5th- June 7th at Edina Mini Camp Bring $400 payable to EHS Football - Once player has sold his 20 cards, the $ 400 check is returned. If a player sells 25 cards, he will get a $100 Hornet Warm-up for FREE! $360 Buy Out option - only $50 additional for a warm up. $410 Buy Out option - you will receive a warm up at no additional cost.

DIBS VOLUNTEERING There are around 200 volunteer spots to fill! Each EHS Football family is asked to fill AT LEAST 2 spots PER family (9th – 12 grade). The 9th and 10th grade families and 11th and 12th grade families each have their own Dibs sign up. Volunteer spots are claimed via DIBS tab on the EFA web site www.edinasports.org or click on the DIBS Link on the High School Football Page. Volunteer spots can be claimed NOW! Questions? EHS SUMMER FOOTBALL Option 1: EHS Summer Football Program (Cost:$125) Equipment Checkout for the summer May 30th to June 1st - from 6-8 pm at ECC All registrants will get a T-shirt and Shorts Mini-Camp and practice (Grades 9-12) - 7-9 pm @ ECC June 5th-Wed June 7th      Practice (Grades 9-12) Mondays - 9am-11am @ ECC June 12th, 19th, 26th,  July 17th, July 24th Speed & Strength (Grades 9-12) (Mon & Wed - 11am-12:30pm @ ECC) June 12, 14th, 19th, 21st 26th, 28th July 12th, 17th, 19th, 24th, 26th 11 sessions total Passing League (grades 10-12) June 14, 21, 28, July 12th, 19th from 6-8 pm. June 29th and July 13th from 9 am-12 pm.
