College Grads Are Losing The Edge Demand is greater than college can provide Bootcamps that demonstrate accomplishment are gaining Actually make ramp up easier on companies Teach relevant skills HR is starting to come around (not in all cases) Connections get you the job Now alternatives to the old college network Meetups Open source Hackathons Social Media

Recent Recruiting Job was advertised Applicant got to the top because of personal connection (not friend) Before it had always been college grads Associate degree and boot camps are now viable You have to work to make the connections.
