What is Inclusion? Exclusion violates human rights and dignity. It holds societies back from sustainable development. This is the importance of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development – to empower every man and woman, to advance justice, to eradicate poverty, to protect the planet, inclusion stands at the heart of the Agenda. Paradigm Shift Models of Disability viewing persons with disabilities as objects of charity, medical treatment and social protection charity & medical subjects with rights, who can claim these rights and make decision social

Social Model of Disability Disability is the result of interaction of an individual with society. The disability does not lie within the individual. Society creates barriers and therefore disables participation of individuals. Under the social model, society must change so that barriers for individuals are removed and disabilities disappear.
