Introduction The importance of teachers is something that cannot be understated. There will be times where children will see their teachers a bit more than they might see their parents during most days.

Teachers are those who help shape the children to be the best that they can be.

Who is the best teacher? The important role of teacher in community. Teachers know that in order to get students to truly take responsibility for their own education: the curriculum must relate to their lives, learning activities must engage their natural curiosity, assessments must measure real accomplishments and be an integral part of learning.

Conclusion Should teachers impose their personal philosophies or value-based ideals and opinions on students? Should teachers act as an agent for social change - or a defender of the status quo? Should teachers be leaders, cheerleaders, spiritual guides, professionals, hand- holders, dictators, activists, or friends to the students they teach?

Thank you for your attention.
