Defects : Fatigue (Thermal) Crack Capacity : 250Mw Material : MAHAGENCO, Bhusawal Defects : Hydrogen damage & Corrosion Pitting Capacity : 250Mw Material : Tube size : Observation : RFET was carried out in selected area around Burners. Localized wall loss like Hydrogen damage, pitting & Bulges were observed. Conclusions : Later the tube were dissected and the given defects were confirmed Tata Power, Jamshedpur Defects : Fatigue (Thermal) Crack Capacity : 250Mw Material : Tube size : Observation : RFET was carried out in selected area around Burners. Severe Indication was observed. No wall was observed. Conclusions : UT scanning was carried out indication reflect the suspect of Thermal (Fatigue) cracking. Later metallurgical test was carried out and it was confirmed that tube has Thermal Cracking

MEW, Kuwait Defects : Bulging Capacity : 250Mw Material : Tube size : Observation : 100% inspection of water wall was carried out using RFET. Localized severe indication were observed. No wall loss was observed and no corrosion or visual defect was observed. Conclusions : Later the tube were inspected using focused high beam light and Bulging were found visually. Later in metallurgical test deformation was confirmed. HPGCL, Yamunanagar, Haryana Defects : Pitting Capacity : 250Mw Material : Tube size : Observation : Inspection carried out on Riffle tube Found Localized Pitting in most of the Tube . Later the tube were cut opened for confirmation and pitting were observed visually. Nearly 250 of tubes were replaced Conclusions : Later the tube were dissected and the given defects were confirmed .
