Welcome to the Edmonds CC Powerpoint Template First, please make sure that you have the official Edmonds CC fonts, “Lato” and “Gotham Bold”. Both are available at employees.edcc.edu/colrel/marketing-and-public-information/brand-guidelines/download.html

Using correct fonts Due to Edmonds CC’s branding guideline, we want to make sure that we’re using the same fonts and colors. Please use Lato (Medium) for body text, like this. For titles, use Gotham Bold. If you use non Latin characters, please use a standard font (like Arial).

Using correct fonts (cont.) Note that all computer that will have to display your powerpoint presentation will need to have the fonts installed, or standard fonts will be used instead, probably messing up the whole document’s display and organization. Using correct colors If you’re writing on a white background, please use the color “Accent 3”. This color is easily selectable by selecting the 7th color on the first row of choice of colors. If you’re writing on a colored background, please use white. You may use green text to highlight some parts. Select “Accent 2”, the 6th color on the first row. Green text can be used on both white and blue background. Do not use text effects, like shadows, glow, or 3D.

Changing the Name of the Presentation At the bottom left of slide, there’s a “Name of the presentation” that you can’t edit by simply clicking on it. You need to access it via the “Master Slide”. Click View, then Master > Slide Master, and you will access general template for the whole presentation. Change the name there (or remove it), then close the Slide Master. The name you wrote will appear on all slides except the Title Slides.

This is a title slide You probably should use it as the first and last slides of the presentation. Use the logo that suits your needs better (the stacked one is preferred, but takes more room). You can also use your Department sublogo instead. Please use the white version. Keep the logo centered. Make sure that the logo is always at least 2.5 inches wide (approximately ¼ of the standard width of a PowerPoint presentation)
