LoDEG Survey Survey ran from April to May 2015 29 responses from 22 London Boroughs and the GLA (66%) Survey provided a focus for LoDEG for 2015/16 Survey results were used to successfully bid for funding from LoTAMB to address certain outcomes of the survey

Assets S 21 Lead Local Flood Authorities: duty to maintain a register (1) A lead local flood authority must establish and maintain: (a) a register of structures or features which, in the opinion of the authority, are likely to have a significant effect on a flood risk in its area, and (b) a record of information about each of those structures or features, including information about ownership and state of repair.

Assets “Do you believe that a London specific definition of what is considered a significant flood risk asset would be useful?” 83% in favour of a standard significant flood asset definition Note - definition will be advisory ACTION – LoDEG developing a Framework for defining a Significant Flood Risk Management Asset

Bid 49 - Significant Flood Risk Management Asset Framework Survey was open to all LLFAs from 02/02/16 to 24/02/16 Survey included 34 questions with the aim of gathering data on how LLFAs are currently defining Significant Flood Risk Management Assets 25 responses received (75% response rate) Using the data gathered the project team will develop a framework for London to help LLFAs come up with an appropriate definition for their borough.

FloodStation “Do you currently (or intend to) use Floodstation as your asset database?” 15 Boroughs (18 respondents) stated that they either currently use Floodstation or intend to use it in the near future. The majority of the other Boroughs use Confirm ACTION – LoDEG have commissioned a review of Floodstation to see if its fit for purpose and identify what improvements are necessary to encourage wider usage
