outline Fan Power Supply Unit PSU Motherboard (main board) With Processor Hard Disk Floppy Drive CD-Rom/DVD player Output & input

Fan The part responsible for cooling the system down whenever the system is over heating. Fan Motor or Generator. Heat sink (Rows of pieces of metal that observes heat) located directly under the fan. blows cool air from out side the box into the insides of the box to cool down. Is programmed to blow wind faster when the system needs more cooling.

Power supply The source of power that supplies the hole system with electricity. AC Input 100-240V 50-60HZ (note: Be carful not to burn it) To keep safe always check the input before turning on your computer. For emergency shut down disconnect the Cable.

Mother board No, there is no such thing as a fatherboard when talking about a computer. However, there is such a thing as a daughterboard.(the daughter board is connected to the mother board and gives it an extra feature) There are about 23 parts connected to the board. such as (BIO, Resister, Chipset, Cache memory and others) Heatsink CPU Socket All components are mandatory so that the computer works the mother board is the heart of the computer.

Mother Board (Continued) Where all the interactions happen. CMOS Battery. Connectors (back pannel: i/o connectors) others: usb hard disk CD-R S&M Memory slots CPU Socket Processor connector. Capacitors Sevral. Heatsink.

Processor (computer processing unit) Analyzing Data. Lays on the mother board It was first developed by Intel in the 19th century. Data Received from Hardware components and software programs.

Hard disk Its job is to store all the computer information permanently. It comes in different sizes(GB) and different shapes(Small/big). Is placed inside a case. Located in an internal(inside) drive bay(Holder/Box). Consist One or more platter depending on the computer. Consist an actuator, spindle and read or writing head.

Floppy Disk Used for storage. (To save data) Because of the limited capacity and reliability of floppy disk today we do not use them in modern computers. First floppy used 5 1/4" floppy disk drives, then 3 1/2" floppy disk drives.

CD-Rom/DVD player A device made to Burn Data on a CD or Read it. Either Audio CD, video DVD or MP3Files. Computers read from the CD reader before it can read from the Hard Drive. Can read at very fast speed. Connected to the mother board which connects it the power supply. CD’s are different types: RW, DVD or Blue Ray.

Input and output Screen. Key board buttons. Mouse. Microphone. Speaker. USB Flash. Internet Cable Camera Printer
