Access Control Device Pack in ACTi Unified Solution Access Control Device Pack (ADP) is capable of communicating with access control devices for the use of sensors and actuators. How ACTi Access Control Device Pack works Live-view or playback Video Stream Direct control to the peripherals The ACTi Access Control Device Pack, otherwise known as ADP, is capable of connecting the ACTi VMS and existing access control devices in the market as long as the device or access control’s central management software provides the SDK or API necessary for device communication (SDK meaning the Software Development Kit and API meaning the Application Programming Interface). The ADP embedded in the ACTi VMS can send query commands or get reports through the device protocol that the access control device provides. With this integration, you can not only SEE the security camera view but also SENSE the environment through smoke detectors, broken glass detectors, alarms, and gate controllers. Device Protocol

Gate Control Alarm As for ADP applications in parking lot management: the ADP can help you track all the information you need in every swipe of an RFID card and (CLICK) set off any alarms in the system if the gate control is tampered with. With the integration of ADP, Intelligent Video Analytics, and ACTi cameras, the RFID card information could be cross-checked with license plate and facial recognition that the camera sees and is analyzed in the IVS system, and then set off any alarms necessary.
