Cheating and plagiarism (Study Regulations) In a case of disregard for academic practice, depending on the seriousness of the violation, the Director of the academic unit has the right to issue a letter of reprimand to the student or make a proposal to delete the student from the matriculation register. The following is considered a violation of academic practice: 1) Using additional materials; 2) Unauthorized exchange of knowledge during an examination 3) Participating in an examination or pass-fail assessment on behalf of another student or enabling it; 4) Submission of someone else ́s written work under one ́s own name or submitting previously submitted work; 5) Plagiarism, i.e. using somebody else ́s written work without providing proper academic reference; 6) Knowingly giving untrue data in papers and applications.

NEW course ELU Social Entrepreneurship ELU course The course is based on the learning by developing (lbD) model to introduce the concept of social entrepreneurship to the participants. Social enterprises promote social inclusion of vulnerable people in the community in a sustainable way combining entrepreneurship with social responsibility. Grades A - excellent D - satisfactory B - very good E - poor C - good F - fail P (pass) – the student has acquired the knowledge and skills required; a positive outcome. MA (fail) – the student has failed to acquire the knowledge and skills at the required level; a negative outcome. Show ASIO
Grades Starting from this semester, Tallinn University does not issue grades (A-F) for courses that end with an assessment and the result is either P (passed) or MA (not passed).
Credit system European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System (ECTS) Exchange students have to follow their Learning Agreement You have to take as many ECTS credits as your home university requires
Registration for classes At the beginning of each term you have to register for the classes that you are going to take. If you register for a class, you will have to take an exam/pass-fail test in this subject. Online registration deadline is February 6. Saab teha vabas vormis avalduse, kui vaja hiljem aineid muuta. Registration for classes You can register online at the Studies Information System (ÕIS): ois2.tlu.ee TU e-mail account from room S-203 (during orientation A-303)
Registration for classes If you have registered for a class at the beginning of the term, but decide to drop the subject, you can remove your name from the list during the first two weeks of the semester. Classes usually start 08:15, 10:15, 12:15... Don’t be late!!!
Exams You have to register for exams in ÕIS (Performances - Search for performances) at least one working day before the exam. If you change your mind before the exam and decide to take it another time, you will have to cancel your registration at least one working day before the exam. If you fail to show up for the exam you have registered for, the result will be “MI” (did not attend). There are two dates for each exam. Exam results will be in ÕIS two weeks after the exam.
