About Connected Funded by the Department for the Economy, Connected is a knowledge transfer project designed to connect industry with expertise available in Further and Higher Education in Northern Ireland. Through Connected the Further and Higher Education sectors can offer expertise, knowledge, research capability and world-class facilities to businesses for the benefit of Northern Ireland companies and Northern Ireland’s economy.

Connected at SWC For many businesses and organisations who wish to collaborate with a university or college, the challenge can often be to understand what exactly is available and to identify the relevant expertise.

What Connected can do for you All these SSPs have something to offer for most businesses. The services we offer include: Free Company Appraisal: An in-depth appraisal of your operational capacity from top to bottom. Includes a confidential report on the health of your business and advice on where you could make improvements. Advice on software needs, IT, marketing, Gamification and cyber security Bespoke training, Lean Manufacturing advice and/or practical research and development opportunities. Product development – from design to prototyping Environmental and waste management advice and support Advice on grants and financial help that could be available to you.
