Game Fields 6U – Festival Park – New Baltimore (Field C) 08/19/14 6U – Festival Park – New Baltimore (Field C) 8U – Festival Park – New Baltimore (Field A and B) Boys Field A, Girls Field B 10U – Pollard Park “D” – Chesterfield 12U – L’Anse Creuse East MS – Fields 1 and 2 – Chesterfield Boys Field 1 and Girls Field 2 14U – Pollard Park Field “B” – Chesterfield 19U – Pollard Park “A” – Chesterfield Under the Lights at Pollard 12U/14U/19U team will play at least one game under the lights. 6U Game Play Playing the Game: 4 v 4 (NO goalkeeper) Size 3 Ball 08/19/14 6U Game Play Playing the Game: 4 v 4 (NO goalkeeper) Size 3 Ball Total Game Length: 40 minutes Four approx. 10 minute quarters - 20 minute half’s Substitutions at quarter and half, unless injury Each player must play 50% of the game No Offside Kick/pass in (NO throw ins) Soccer/Athletic shoes, shin guards Each Coach will bring 2 corner flags to the game Coaches can be on the field Instructor Notes Set the tone – “What do you expect to get out of this session?” Drive the answers to fit in with the Workshop Objectives. 14U Game Play Playing the Game: 11 v 11 (includes goalkeeper) 08/19/14 14U Game Play Playing the Game: 11 v 11 (includes goalkeeper) Size 5 Ball Total Game Length: 70 minutes Two 35 minute halves Substitutions half way through (~17.5 minutes) Each player must play 50% of the game Monitored Substitution at quarter breaks, unless injury Offside rule is enforced from the halfway line Throw-ins (both feet down, hands over the head) Soccer/Athletic shoes, shin guards Coaches will have 4 corner flags Coaches can not be on the field, only the referee Only Coach and Assistant Coach can be on the touchline Instructor Notes Set the tone – “What do you expect to get out of this session?” Drive the answers to fit in with the Workshop Objectives. 19U Game Play Playing the Game: 11 v 11 (includes goalkeeper) 08/19/14 19U Game Play Playing the Game: 11 v 11 (includes goalkeeper) Size 5 Ball Total Game Length: 90 minutes Two 45 minute halves Each player must play 50% of the game Offside rule is enforced from the halfway line Throw-ins (both feet down, hands over the head) Free Substitution On your team’s own throw-ins Any goal kick Any time the opposing team substitutes on their throw-ins Soccer/Athletic shoes, shin guards Coaches will have 4 corner flags Coaches can not be on the field, only the referee Only Coach and Assistant Coach can be on the touchline Instructor Notes Set the tone – “What do you expect to get out of this session?” Drive the answers to fit in with the Workshop Objectives. Coach Admin Notes Fair play,  ex:  Don't play YOUR child or Star Player the whole game, while other kids consistently sit out. Positive coaching,  NO YELLING  or putting down.  Make sure you bring, Player Registration forms, Ice and basic Medical kits to the games. Always give credit to every player coming off the field. Pick up Trash after all games (ie. Water bottles, snack wrappers)

From the Referee Administrator 08/19/14 From the Referee Administrator Rule Changes: No Heading for U12 or below Kick offs Offside placement of ball Clarification of some of the Laws: Handling Throw ins Injuries Substitutions Offside Instructor Notes Set the tone – “What do you expect to get out of this session?” Drive the answers to fit in with the Workshop Objectives. Schedules Season will start: September 5th (U19 will be earlier) Schedules: Will be handed out tonight for 6U/8U/10U U12/U14 schedules are not finalized yet but will be sent to you via e-mail Cancellations: Games are played in the Rain (light rain with no thunder/lightening) Both Coaches MUST agree to cancel and agree on new date. Must email Paul Janis to obtain available dates. Make sure you provide him, team name, number, date of game canceled Schedules will be posted in Blue Sombrero for team site/app.

(All Divisions except 6U & 8U) 08/19/14 Standings (All Divisions except 6U & 8U) Coaches – Report to your Division Rep Win/Loss/Tie Either after every game or a weekly basis. Division Reps are listed on our schedules. Out of Region, only report for Region 195 games. Division Reps - Collect standings in a WIN/LOSS/TIE format. 2017 Area 8C FallFest Soccer Tournament When: October 14 – 15, 2017 (Saturday/Sunday) Who: 10U-19U Boys/Girls Where: Port Huron, MI Registration Deadline: Post Marked by September 22nd Coach Must be Certified: Safe Haven, CDC Concussion and Division Certified. Each team is guaranteed 3 games. Cost is based on division. Only AYSO Core team, which makes this a very fun/competitive tournament. EXTRA teams are not eligible Application and Tournament Rules is ASYO Area 8c website and will be posted on our website.

How Do I Get My Coach Certification Coaches must either utilize coach training on AYSOU.org OR attend a class. 6U and 8U can be completed online but cost money…..Region will reimburse for any expenses related to training. 10U (online and field portion) 12U/14U/19U (in person class/field) 14U is called Intermediate Coach 16U-19U is called Advanced Coach

Local Training 10U Coach (classroom and field) Saturday, August 26th – 8:30am to 3pm 12U Coach (classroom and field) Both at Shelby Community Center on Van Dyke.

Board Member Meetings Open to anyone! First Thursday of every month Meeting time is: 7:30pm during season 7:00pm non season Check aysoregion195.org for time and location
