2016 Diversity & Inclusion Goals Provide Opportunities for Local/Minority Businesses 16 new minority-owned businesses (9 Black Business Enterprises, 4 Hispanic Business Enterprises, 5 Women Owned Businesses) integrated into MUSC's supply chain Two companies in the construction related fields have already secured mid 5 figure contracts with MUHA. 73% Spent with SMWBE Businesses on Shawn Jenkins CH One company is currently in negotiations with MUHA for 5 to 6 figure purchase orders for the medical supply side. MUSC’s first diverse vendor portal to track and report MUSC’s spend on minority and small businesses Selected for Vizient Supplier Diversity Advisory Council
