What the judges will be looking for: Technology innovation a cyclic approach to their project (design, modify, evaluate) a view to the future (ie, product development) Ownership Science A well thought out method and conclusion that are related to the hypothesis Solid data gathering and analysis of this data A view to the future (ie, possible spin off investigations) Judges also like to see … an authentic reason for a project, not just a copy of an experiment off the web. For example, in a technology project it might be a special tool that will make gran’s life easier . In a science project it might be a curious observation of an insect that triggered a thorough investigation into its habits. creative problem solving and curiosity
