THE PRESENTATION THIS IS YOUR CHANCE TO EXPLAIN THE JUDGES WHAT MAKES YOUR SCIENCE PROJECT SOMETHING SPECIAL. PREPARE YOURSELF TO GIVE A MEMORABLE PITCH Checklist: Why did you pick this subject in the first place? Did you discover something special or unique? What are the implications of your findings? What is in it for me?

LISTEN TO THE QUESTIONS! BRILLIANT! HOW DOES YOUR WORK ADDRESSES THAT? WHAT AM I INTERESTED IN?

PREPARE YOURSELF FOR AN EFFECTIVE PRESENTATION Greet your guests Show that you appreciate their interest in your work Listen to the question(s) This will tell you what your guest is most interested in Answer with clarity and authority don’t rush; remember: You know your work, your guest is seeing it for the first time Enunciate!
