What are some of Jesus’ teachings that you find “hard”? What are some practical things you do to follow Jesus faithfully and without grumbling when what he asks is challenging? Day 4. Read John 6:65-66. As you think about the passage, consider the things that caused some of Jesus’ disciples to quit following him. Do the temptations they faced sound real and compelling to you? Why or why not? Day 5. Read John 6:67-69. Consider Simon Peter’s response in this passage. How does it reflect your own response when following Jesus becomes difficult?
