Conclusion Paragraph A conclusion paragraph is the last paragraph in an academic essay and generally summarizes the essay, presents the main idea of the essay, or gives an overall solution to a problem or argument given in the essay. Example: Although there have been many great New York Yankees throughout history Derek Jeter is the best. He is not only a caring person that gives back to the community but was a leader on and off the field. He’s a role model and exemplifies what all athletes should strive to become.
