Administrative Items Write your name on the 3 bathroom passes – TURN IN Complete Student Info Sheet – TURN IN – tell me any seating issues on the info sheet. Later this week I MIGHT develop a seating chart that will be subject to being moved at any time in the semester.

Ms. Draime’s Classroom Philosophy Share business experience with you – real life applications Students/Employees; Ms. Draime/Manager Bring prior teaching skills to classroom Treat students respectfully and consistently Offer a safe learning environment Have Fun!!!

IB mission statement The International Baccalaureate aims to develop inquiring, knowledgeable and caring young people who help to create a better and more peaceful world through intercultural understanding and respect. To this end the organization works with schools, governments and international organizations to develop challenging programmes of international education and rigorous assessment. These programmes encourage students across the world to become active, compassionate and lifelong learners who understand that other people, with their differences, can also be right.

Expectations Review Class Information Student Contract due by Friday, September 1st and signed by Parent/Guardian and You Required Midterm and Final Exam Academic Honesty – Need to add YOUR personal commitment to student contract. (Handout)

Supplies Needed for Class YOUR 2 inch Notebook from Level 1 Composition notebook for Reflective Journal (Can continue with last year’s or get another for Level 2 – your choice) 5 Notebook dividers Paper, Pens and Pencils each day Reflective Journal – need to note Level 2 Kleenex, hand sanitizer and anti-bacterial wipes donations accepted anytime

Consequences Warning Reflection Desk Student Conference Detention Parent/Guardian contact Office referral Note: May not be in this order depending on situation
