THE PRAYER OF ST. FRANCIS THE CALL TO WORSHIP THE PRAYER OF ST. FRANCIS [Pastor / CONGREGATION ] Lord, make me an instrument OF YOUR PEACE;   Where there is hatred, LET ME SOW LOVE;

Where there is injury, PARDON;   Where there is doubt, FAITH; Where there is despair, HOPE; Where there is sadness, JOY; Where there is darkness, LIGHT.

O divine Master, grant that I may not so much seek to be consoled, AS TO CONSOLE;   Not so much to be understood, AS TO UNDERSTAND; Not so much to be loved, AS TO LOVE.

For it is in giving THAT WE RECEIVE;   It is in pardoning THAT WE ARE PARDONED; It is in dying THAT WE ARE BORN AGAIN TO ETERNAL LIFE.

‘WHEN WE ALL GET TO HEAVEN’ **THE OPENING HYMN #772 ‘WHEN WE ALL GET TO HEAVEN’ (See Screen) [ All who are able please stand ]

(1) Sing the wondrous love of Jesus, Sing His mercy and His grace; In the mansions bright and blessed He’ll prepare for us a place. When we all get to heaven, What a day of rejoicing that will be! When we all see Jesus, We’ll sing and shout the victory!

(2) While we walk the pilgrim pathway, Clouds will overspread the sky; But when trav’ling days are over, Not a shadow, not a sigh.  When we all get to heaven, What a day of rejoicing that will be! When we all see Jesus, We’ll sing and shout the victory!

(3) Let us then be true and faithful, Trusting, serving every day; Just one glimpse of Him in glory Will the toils of life repay. When we all get to heaven, What a day of rejoicing that will be! When we all see Jesus, We’ll sing and shout the victory!

(4) Onward to the prize before us! Soon His beauty we’ll behold; Soon the pearly gates will open; We shall tread the streets of gold.   When we all get to heaven, What a day of rejoicing that will be! When we all see Jesus, We’ll sing and shout the victory!

THE ASSURANCE OF PARDON and I will give you rest.” SILENT PRAYERS OF THANKSGIVING AND CONFESSION THE ASSURANCE OF PARDON Matthew 11:28   (The words of Jesus) “Come unto me, all you who are weary and heavy-laden, and I will give you rest.”

THE SONG OF RESPONSE (1) When all my labors and trials are o’er, And I am safe on that beautiful shore, Just to be near the dear Lord I adore, Will through the ages be glory for me.   Oh, that will be glory for me, Glory for me, glory for me, When by His grace I shall look on His face, That will be glory, be glory for me.

(2) When, by the gift of His infinite grace, I am accorded in heaven a place, Just to be there and to look on His face, Will through the ages be glory for me.   Oh, that will be glory for me, Glory for me, glory for me, When by His grace I shall look on His face, That will be glory, be glory for me.

(3) Friends will be there I have loved long ago; Joy like a river around me will flow; Yet just a smile from my Savior, I know, Will through the ages be glory for me. Oh, that will be glory for me, Glory for me, glory for me, When by His grace I shall look on His face, That will be glory, be glory for me.

SINCE LAST YEAR’S ALL-SAINTS SUNDAY ROLL CALL OF LOVED ONES ENTERING HEAVEN SINCE LAST YEAR’S ALL-SAINTS SUNDAY NOVEMBER 1, 2015 “Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord, for they rest from their labors, and their works follow them.” (Revelation 14:13)   “And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be NO MORE death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain.” (Revelation 21:4)

Read by Deacon Melinda Post THE HOLY SCRIPTURE John 11:32-44  Read by Deacon Melinda Post When Mary came where Jesus was and saw Him, she knelt at Jesus’ feet and said to Him, "Lord, if you had been here, my brother would not have died.“ When Jesus saw her weeping, and the Jews who came with her also weeping, He was greatly disturbed in spirit and deeply moved. He said, "Where have you laid him?“ They said to him, "Lord, come and see.“ Jesus began to weep. So the Jews said, "See how He loved Lazarus!"

But some of them said, “Could not He who opened the eyes of the blind man have kept this man from dying?” Then Jesus, again greatly disturbed, came to the tomb. It was a cave, and a stone was lying against it. Jesus said, “Take away the stone.” Martha, the sister of the dead man, said to Him, “Lord, already there is a stench because he has been dead four days.” Jesus said to her, “Did I not tell you that IF YOU BELIEVED, YOU WOULD SEE THE GLORY OF GOD?” So they took away the stone. And Jesus looked upward and prayed, “Father, I thank you for having heard Me.

I know that You always hear Me, but I have said this for the sake of the crowd standing here, so that they may believe that You sent Me."   When he had said this, he cried with a loud voice, “Lazarus, come forth!” The dead man came out, his hands and feet bound with strips of cloth, and his face wrapped in another cloth. And Jesus said to them, “Unbind him, and let him go.”

THE SONG OF PREPARATION #778

There’s a land that is fairer than day, (1) There’s a land that is fairer than day, And by faith we can see it afar; For the Father waits over the way To prepare us a dwelling place there.   In the sweet by and by We shall meet on that beautiful shore; We shall meet on that beautiful shore.

We shall sing on that beautiful shore (2) We shall sing on that beautiful shore The melodious songs of the blest; And our spirits shall sorrow no more Not a sigh for the blessing of rest. In the sweet by and by We shall meet on that beautiful shore; We shall meet on that beautiful shore.

To our bountiful Father above We will offer our tribute of praise, (3) To our bountiful Father above We will offer our tribute of praise, For the glorious gift of his love And the blessings that hallow our days. In the sweet by and by We shall meet on that beautiful shore; We shall meet on that beautiful shore.

‘WHEN THE ROLL IS CALLED THE CLOSING HYMN #774 ‘WHEN THE ROLL IS CALLED UP YONDER ’

When the trumpet of the Lord shall sound and time shall be no more, And the morning breaks eternal, bright and fair; When the saved of earth shall gather over on the other shore, And the roll is called up yonder, I’ll be there. When the roll is called up yonder,

On that bright and cloudless morning when the dead in Christ shall rise, and the glory of His resurrection share; When His chosen ones shall gather to their home beyond the skies, And the roll is called up yonder, I’ll be there. When the roll is called up yonder,

Let us labor for the Master from the dawn to setting sun; Let us talk of all His wondrous love and care Then when all of life is over and our work on earth is done, And the roll is called up yonder, I’ll be there. When the roll is called up yonder,
