Help in class We would love to have you involved further in the children’s learning so if you are available and would like to help please let us know. Most of our helpers enjoying reading one to one with children and enjoy seeing the difference they make. We also welcome parents to help on our trips!
Homework Maths – Weekly MyMaths (set every Friday for the next Friday) Rockstar maths Mental maths target – Fortnightly (roughly), in home/school diaries. Writing – Talk homework at the end of each literacy unit to talk through what they are going to write during their big write. Reading – We expect the children to read at least 5 times a week. Children to read books at their appropriate level and beyond. Spellings- Spelling activities will be highlighted on the VLE regularly which tie in with the spelling patterns explored in class. Year 3/4 spelling list is also in the home/school diary to practice at home Projects – Termly topic project.
