EarthCents New Homes Updates EarthCents New Home Program continuing Qualifications remain the same: HERS rating of 77 or lower ALL space and water heating must be electric In Georgia Power service territory Rebate for each qualifying home will be $500 with additional $25 per point below 77 Heat Pump rebate of $250 per HP system Example: Home with one HP system and a HERS 73 = $850 $500 for qualifying score plus $100 (4 points below 77) plus $250 Heat Pump rebate
