Taking Courses Three Terms Fall (Sept to Dec – 12 weeks) Winter (Jan to April – 12 weeks) Spring (May to Mid July– 10 weeks) + Summer (July to Mid Aug 6 weeks) You need to register for each term (note Spring and Summer is one term) You can apply for a Leave of Absence if you plan to miss a term (no access to UOIT resources)

Course Culture Meet every week – 1.5 to 3 hours Full attendance is required or notify instructor Not lecture based About 3-6 hours of work outside of class each week (on average) + Assignments Close community and you will be helped by other students 10 to 20 students per class Make sure your technology works well
