GOOD TEACHERS & METHODOLOGY

What Makes a Good Teacher? They should make their lessons interesting so you do not fall asleep in them. A teacher must love his/her job that will make the lessons more interesting. I like a teacher who has lots of knowledge, not only of his subject. A good teacher is an entertainer and I mean that in a positive sense, not a negative sense. The character and personality of the teacher is a crucial issue in the classroom.

What Makes a Good Teacher? It is not so much about the teachers themselves, but rather about the relationship between the teacher and the student. It is important that you can talk to the teacher when you have problems and you don’t get along with the subject. A good teacher is somebody who has an affinity with the students that they’re teaching.

What Makes a Good Teacher? He/She should be able to correct people without offending them. A good teacher is someone who helps rather than shouts. A good teacher is someone who knows our names. A good teacher should try and draw out the quiet ones and control the talkative ones.

What Makes a Good Teacher? One simple answer : EMPATHY Good teachers care more about their students’ learning than they do about their own teaching.

What is Methodology ?

METHODOLOGY: The study of the practices and procedures used in teaching, and the principles and beliefs that underlie them.

The terms, approach , method, and technique may be viewed as points along a continuum from the theoretical (approach), in which basic beliefs about language and learning are considered, to design (method) in which a practical plan for teaching (or learning) a language is considered, to the details (technique) where the actual learning activity takes place.
