The Situation – Introduction to world of Pathfinders Charitable Trust NGO Overview Focus Segment We have been shaping careers since 2014 Our area of influence is Maharashtra Karnataka We have reached more than 10,000 students and counting 125+ active volunteers and counting Students in SSC (10th), HSC (12th) and students perusing non-specialized/non-technical graduation and post graduation Unemployed youth living in rural and semi-urban areas We also provide guidance to parents in similar areas Present Scenario Current population of Maharashtra between 14- 23 age group - 3.2 Crores. Suicides – in India (year 2010/11/12) The Challenge/Gap – due to lack of employability, we don’t only create unemployment but leads to effect social fabric of our society. We help youth to find right guidance so they don’t indulge in anti-social or self termination activities Social Issues we address Unemployment Failure in Examination Professional / Career Stress Many people have committed suicide as they were unable to cope up with above issues Suicides – in India (year 2010/11/12) Ref: http://ncrb.nic.in/CD-ADSI-2012/suicides-11.pdf In India, ILO report showed, only 21.2% of working men (aged 15-59) had a regular salaried job (in 2011/12 period).   This year, jobless rate is expected to rise to 3.8%, according to the report 'Global Employment Trends 2014'.

Concept and Methodology The Solution and Uniqueness- Through Pathfinder Career Guidance Outreach program, we expose students to a broad range of career opportunities and give them the confidence to get ahead in life. Conduct career guidance seminar/workshops in schools and colleges Free counseling for students and parents. Question and answer sessions Distribution of a Career Guidance Booklet that contains detailed information on courses and professional colleges; Information on education loans, college admission and scholarships. Concept and Methodology First Mass based Career Guidance program Create “Career guidance cell” in schools and colleges Distribute “Pathfinder Career Guide” Free of Cost Provide information and guide students in following areas Academic success, Career and vocational guidance, Personal and Social development Counseling for Parents Counseling for Teachers and School staff Information on different career options Proper guidance/motivation Get tempted by current trends Not to blindly follow the crowd/friends Generate positive parental influence Financial aid (option) Outcomes of focused efforts and indispensable exposure of knowledge we provide to our participants (Audience – Students)

(once a month) Career guide distributed free of cost Joined hands with NSS (National Service Scheme – for logistic support, Professional institutes and Corporates for imparting information Conducting awareness programs which is being sponsored by Corporates (Eye check camps, Dental Camps etc… in Schools & Colleges for revenue generation Graduates/Post Graduates Planning to reach approximately 2-3000 by 2015-16 Sessions will be conducted twice a year /as requested in each college. Joining hands with Corporates and professional counselors for imparting knowledge Parental Guidance Conducting Parental Guidance sessions in PTO meetings in Schools and Colleges Reaching parents in all schools and colleges (Approx 20,000-22,000) Specialized content for the parents will be distributed at these meetings. These sessions will be held twice a year Joined hands with Counselors for these sessions Unemployed Youth Reaching un-employed rural youth and providing them knowledge on different career options Contents are being provided by the corporates/trainers Will be held once a month Joining hands with L&T Construction Skills Training Institute, RUDSETI etc… 125+ active volunteers and counting Specialized content and Pathfinder Books and Focused Literature Industry specialized experts thought leadership Parental counselling programs for positive influence
