e-Health Workshop: Introduction of the presenter Associate Professor Oliver Burmeister, SCM. I lead the FOBJBS Health Services research area (HSRA), together with Associate Professor Zahid Islam. The HSRA is focused on non-medical services in health (health stats, data mining, HRM, nursing practice, healthy ageing, and more). There are some overlaps with the CML ehealth focus.

Recent eHealth related projects 2017-2018 $890,000 Global Innovation Linkages (under review). Title: Digital Health Solution to monitor and diagnose Alzheimer’s and dementia, supporting patients, carer-givers and clinicians to improve patient outcomes, implement interventions and delay institutionalisation. 2016-2017 $14,020 CSU FOBJBS Compact Grant (no 122). Title: SPADE (dementia game). 2015-2017 $655,000 Department of Social Services. Title: Social and community links - a driver of healthy and active ageing. 2015-2017 $250,000 NSW Kids and Families. Title: Health system navigation in the digital age. 2015 $15,000 Carewest Pty Ltd. Title: Evaluation of Tele-Health Equipment (Older people with disabilities). 2014-2015 $15,000 Young and Well Cooperative Research Centre.
