Introduction and Background WorldBank2017 Introduction and Background The State of Kuwait is located at the Northeast corner of the Arabian Peninsula. Kuwait links between, Iraq, Islamic Republic of Iran and the North West Asian countries in the north, and the Gulf countries and Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in the south, as well as overlooking the Arabian Gulf east ward at its northern peak. The northern and southern boarders are considered as gateways to the future development of the state of Kuwait. Provide land spaces for the construction of housing projects, to meet the actual demand (110,000 housing demands, and at an increas rate of 8,000 per year) Remove the conflicts among the government agencies. Other factors: Provide alternative housing units to suit the needs of small families and lower-income citizens Vertical Accommodation with modern designs and techniques Connected houses Houses with less area and be closer to the capital Educate citizens about the importance of the selection of the optimal alternative housing and the right to family Importance of expediting highways and road network for connecting the new cities and suburbs with the Capital.
