Houston and Lamar Campaign Poster MUST INCLUDE: The person’s name (Sam Houston / Mirabeau B. Lamar A catchy slogan 2 reasons to vote FOR the person. 2 reasons to vote AGAINST the other person. A picture MUST BE NEAT MUST BE IN COLOR.

Directions Fold paper in half. (Hamburger fold) Put Houston’s poster on the left and Lamar’s poster on the right. Sketch out your ideas in pencil first before using markers and pencil colors. Use your notes to find reasons for and against the person. Catchy campaign slogan examples: “For the Future,” “In Your Heart, You Know He’s Right,” “Are You Better Off Now Than You Were Three Years Ago?” “For President of the People,” “He’s Making us Proud Again,” “A Leader, For a Change,” “Texas Needs Change.”
