Application Procedure Qualifications Checker/ Academic Assessment Complete Application Form Obtain support from two (2) sponsors Attend Professional Review Interview Link to IMechE CEng application site: https://www.imeche.org/membership-registration/become-a-member/chartered-engineer

Application Procedure 1. Qualifications Checker/ Academic Assessment At least Master’s degree level. This may be from: A four-year accredited MEng degree A bachelor's degree in a relevant subject and a master's qualification A bachelor's degree plus learning on the job, via short courses, private study, part time study or other routes !! However, for bachelor degrees awarded in Malaysia prior to the year 2009 (before Malaysia signed the Washington Accord), a full Academic Assessment is required. !!

Qualifications Checker/ Academic Assessment For Academic Assessment (process time may take up to 12 weeks), the documents required are: Evidence/Certificate of each qualification Official academic record/transcripts for each qualification A detailed CV For research based qualifications, please include from the thesis: Table of contents Conclusions

Complete Application Form Section 2: Personal competence statements Part A: Optimise the application of technology Part B: Analysis and solution of engineering problems Part C: Technical and commercial leadership Part D: Effective interpersonal skills Part E: Commitment to professional standards !! Each part requires only 400 words !! Advice from a Fellow Member of IMechE: List down teaching module titles and student numbers They like DESIGN !!

Application Procedure 4. Attend Professional Review Interview Approximately one (1) hour Bring along: Any highlights of your job/major projects/research Copies of your CV Application form Optional: Presentation on the highlights of your career (15 minutes)
