ISIT future teams may be interested in organizing an ITW to warm up.

TCS WiOpt 2017 15th International Symposium on Modeling and Optimization in Mobile, Ad Hoc, and Wireless Networks This symposium has been regularly technically cosponsored by IT Society in the past editions [BoG Vote 5] The conference committee recommends BoG approval of the technical co-sponsorship

Green conferences The term refers to conferences where the waste is kept to a minimum by avoiding to distribute: CD/USB sticks with proceedings Full conference bags Paper programs and printouts The use of apps to navigate the program, to access the papers, and to plan which talks to attend is gaining momentum and can help us to transition to green conferences. This solution has the potential of reducing the registration fees by 20-30$. [For discussion] The conference committee proposes to strongly encourage organizers to all future ISIT’s and ITW’s to: Distribute the proceedings via internet enabling bulk download one week before and 4 weeks after the conference Have a conference app that also enables browsing of individual papers during the conference Use a paper bag
